About

Founded in 2022, Little Flower Cottage helps people bring more color, calm and character into their lives through seasonal flowers, potted plants and simple growing tips.

We’ve reached thousands of new and seasoned gardeners in just a few short years – some planting their first seeds, others building whole cutting gardens on balconies, backyards or windowsills.

Whether you’re starting with a windowsill basil pot or creating a full flower bed, you’re in the right place.

Little Flower Cottage has been featured in Martha Stewart, Livingetc, Real Simple, Dengarden, Home & Gardens, Apartment Therapy, Bob Vila, Style Me Pretty and more.

Our Story

Little Flower Cottage started as a personal project. I’m Andrew, the founder and writer, and I’ve been growing plants and flowers for over 15 years.

It started with a few pots on a stoop. Then it was a whole backyard of dahlias and zinnias. Then came the requests: friends, neighbors and strangers online asking questions about soil, sun, bloom time and even how to keep things alive through the winter.

So I started writing it all down.

Not in fancy terms. Just what worked, what didn’t, what I’d try again.
And that became Little Flower Cottage.

Some people come here for design ideas. Others are looking to keep their plants alive past the first season. And some just want to know what they should plant next. Whatever brought you here though, I’m glad you found us.

This has grown into something better than I ever imagined – full of conversations, ideas and garden plans.

Thank you for being here. Whether you’re planting your first flower or your fiftieth, there’s always more beauty to grow.

Let’s keep going.
